Ms Allen-Martin has spent nearly five decades traveling abroad and in the USA, to learn the travel industry. She has personally stayed at many of the places she recomends. She has worked for motavotional speakers, hotel chains and tour companies as a marketing professional. She has also worked for other travel agencies over the years, but knew she could best serve travelers by creating an agency on her own terms, that "valued service as a product."  She was determined to prove that her agency could prove better service and value than any other means of travel planning. She was right. Talismae Global has received a Travelers Association Gold Star award three times.
